iron core

The iron core is made of imported grain-oriented high-quality high-magnetic-permeability silicon steel sheets stacked together. The 45° fully oblique joint structure and elastic fixing devices between the winding cores enable the transformer to have lower no-load loss and noise.
The surface of the iron core is treated with a special process, which not only reduces the noise of the transformer but also prevents the iron core from rusting during operation of the transformer.
The iron core is moderately clamped by pull screws without punching holes. The upper and lower clamps are connected by pull plates and fixed to the base. The windings are fixed by elastic pads. The buffer structure can reduce the vibration of the windings and reduce noise.

High and low voltage coils

The high and low voltage coils are made of Nomex® insulation material, which has been impregnated with solvent-free impregnating paint through VPI vacuum pressure equipment for multiple times, and baked and cured at high temperatures multiple times. The high-voltage coil adopts a continuous structure with high mechanical strength and good heat dissipation conditions, which avoids the shortcomings of multi-layer cylindrical coils such as high interlayer voltage, poor heat dissipation ability, easy thermal breakdown, and low mechanical strength, thereby improving the operation efficiency of the product. Reliability; low-voltage coil adopts foil type or longitudinal air channel high current spiral structure. The impregnated coil has excellent moisture-proof performance, can withstand impacts, never cracks, and has no partial discharge. It is easy to disperse and recycle after its service life, protecting the environment.

Lead wire

The high-voltage outlet terminal is fixed on the upper part of the winding, and the tap is in the middle of the winding. When the power is off, the tap is changed through the connecting piece to adjust the output voltage. The low-voltage outlet terminal is a plate-type conductive bar, which is reliably connected to the lead-out bar through bolts.

If users need it, our company can provide enclosures with protection levels of IP20 and IP23. The meaning of the shell protection grade IP20 is: solid foreign objects with a diameter of 12mm are not allowed to enter. To ensure cooling air circulation, the bottom and top of the housing are made of mesh panels. The shell protection grade IP23 has the same meaning as IP20, but it can also prevent water from entering within an angle of 60° from the vertical.

Overheating protection

In order to take protective measures against coil overheating, SG10 dry-type transformers of 315KVA and above are equipped with a temperature display protection device. This device uses the temperature sensing element embedded in the low-voltage winding as the signal source of the digital display. When the temperature in the low-voltage winding changes, the temperature-sensitive digital display displays a new temperature value, and performs control and alarm functions based on this temperature value to protect the transformer.

SG10 dry-type power transformer adopts new structure, new materials, and new technology to have good heat dissipation conditions, long thermal life, and extremely strong overload capability. It can work safely and reliably under 120% overload or for a long time. It does not require fan cooling in an IP23 environment and can still operate at full load for a long time.

The new SG10 product is the dry-type transformer with the highest safety performance today. All insulation materials are non-combustible, self-extinguishing, and non-toxic. Their flammable substances are less than 10% of cast epoxy products. No toxic smoke is produced when burned for a long time at a high temperature of 800°C, thus overcoming the problem of burning epoxy cast transformers. Defects that produce toxic gases. The SG10 new product is even more advantageous in electric power, subway, shipbuilding, chemical industry, metallurgy and other places with high safety requirements, humidity, heat and poor ventilation.

Insulation systems based on Nomex® maintain excellent electrical and mechanical properties throughout the entire service life of the transformer. Nomex® material is not easy to age, is resistant to shrinkage and compression, and has strong elasticity, thus ensuring that the coils of the transformer remain structurally tight even after years of use and can withstand the pressure of short circuits.

Smaller and lighter

The new SG10 product uses DuPont Nomex paper as the main insulating material and uses it as a hybrid insulation system at the hottest point of the transformer, which reduces the size and weight of the product compared with epoxy resin cast transformer products of the same capacity. .

Environmental friendly

The SG10 new product can be decomposed and recycled after its life cycle to meet customer needs and overcome the shortcomings of epoxy resin cast dry-type transformers that cannot be decomposed after their life cycle and pollute the environment due to the solidification and fusion of resin and glass fiber into a whole.
